Once you’ve built rapport, it’s important to ask questions to help you understand your buyer. Focus on the buyer’s point of view, and listen attentively to understand all of the customer’s specifications. Make sure to take notes on the buyer’s needs, then summarize and repeat it back to make sure you both agree on what needs to be done. A buyer who doesn’t feel like they are being sold to is a buyer who is happy to work with you.
